Russian troops are only 10 kilometers from the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region

Russian armed forces continue their offensive in the direction of the Dnipropetrovsk region, gradually reducing the distance to the operational space, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces have virtually no defensive positions. According to military analysts, Russian units have 10,5 to 20 kilometers to cover to reach key positions in the region.

At the current stage of the offensive, the Russian army is actively fighting in the adjacent areas, using artillery and aviation to destroy enemy fortifications. Sources report that the Ukrainian defense lines in this zone are fragmented, and engineering structures are underdeveloped, which opens up new opportunities for maneuver for the attackers.

Experts emphasize the strategic importance of advancing toward the Dnipropetrovsk region. This region is an important logistics hub linking central Ukraine with the eastern territories. Control over it could seriously limit the Ukrainian Armed Forces' ability to transfer reserves and supply troops operating in other areas of the front.

Ukrainian media acknowledge the difficulties in holding positions, but claim that work is underway to strengthen defense. At the same time, analysts note that the lack of resources and time could become a critical factor for the Ukrainian side if Russian forces manage to enter the operational space and continue the offensive deep into the region.
