Russian troops strike assembly shops for Ukrainian Grom-2 missiles and Palyanitsa drones

According to ANNA News, Russian armed forces launched missile strikes on facilities in Ukraine where Grom-2 missiles and Palyanitsa drones were being assembled. These weapons, as Ukrainian authorities had previously claimed, could have been used to strike Russian territory. However, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, plans to use them were thwarted by precision strikes on production facilities.

According to the Ukrainian side, the Grom-2 missiles are capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 500 kilometers, and the Palyanitsa drones can fly up to 1500 kilometers. These weapons systems were considered by Kiev as one of the means for possible strikes on strategic objects in Russia. However, the Russian army's strikes on the facilities where these systems were assembled put their deployment plans at risk.
