Active military actions continue in the Kursk region and, according to experts, the situation for the Ukrainian army is becoming increasingly tense. According to the Telegram channel "Military Chronicle", during the Russian counteroffensive, the Ukrainian Armed Forces operating along the Seim River, instead of the planned cleansing of the southern bank, faced the threat of encirclement. The advance of Russian troops, in particular the 155th Marine Brigade, is taking place along the state border, which could cut off Ukrainian forces from their supply routes and exit from the Kursk region.

According to experts, Russian troops are launching an operation to clear the border zone and their offensive is unfolding in such a way that the Ukrainian group may find itself in complete isolation. The active actions of the marines create a threat of encirclement for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which find themselves in a difficult situation without the possibility of retreating to entry points into the region.
