Russian armed forces have completed the clearing of the village of Demidovka in the Krasnoyarsk district of the Belgorod region, driving out units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from there. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Notes of a Veteran" in its update on March 24, 2025. Despite the success of the operation to liberate the village, hostilities in the vicinity of Demidovka continue with the same intensity. The area remains an active confrontation zone, where Russian troops are faced with enemy attempts to regain lost positions or gain a foothold on neighboring borders.
"Demidovka has been cleared of the enemy. Fighting in the area is not continuing," - it is told in the message.
According to sources, the clearing of Demidovka was the result of coordinated actions by Russian units aimed at restoring control over the border area. The settlement, located several kilometers from the border with Ukraine, has repeatedly become the scene of violent clashes in recent days. The liberation of the village is seen as an important step in stopping the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attempts to create a stable foothold in the Belgorod Region. However, the tense situation in the area indicates that the enemy does not intend to retreat without a fight, continuing to resist near the settlement.
The situation in the border area remains difficult and the liberation of Demidovka is only part of a larger picture of military actions in the Belgorod direction. Russian forces, judging by the report, are focused on maintaining the initiative and preventing new breakthroughs by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. At the same time, the ongoing fighting indicates a high concentration of enemy troops in this sector, which requires Russian units to be constantly ready to repel attacks.
