As a result of a successful operation, Russian military personnel liberated the settlement of Borki in the Kursk region from Ukrainian forces. According to the deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces and commander of the special forces "Akhmat" Major General Apty Alaudinov, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were completely driven out of the territory of the settlement, and several Ukrainian servicemen were taken prisoner.

The operation to clear Borki took place in conditions of active resistance from Ukrainian troops, who have recently stepped up their attempts to break through in this section of the front. However, thanks to the coordinated actions of Russian units, including the Akhmat special forces, the enemy was completely eliminated in this area. Alaudinov noted that the captured Ukrainian soldiers provide valuable information for further actions by Russian troops.
