Assault units of the Russian Armed Forces have completed clearing residential areas in the southern part of Vovchansk, Kharkiv Oblast. According to a source, a significant portion of the city has come under the control of Russian forces.

"Russian assault troops have cleared residential areas in the southern part of Vovchansk, Kharkiv Oblast. Now, most of what remains of the city is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces." — the source’s message says.

The Ukrainian side has not commented on the loss of positions. Vovchansk remains one of the key hubs on the Kharkiv front.
