On the contact line in the Zaporizhia region, Russian forces have advanced in a westerly direction, leveling the section of the front between the villages of Novodarovka and Rivnepil. This was reported by Vladimir Rogov, a representative of the pro-Russian administration of Zaporizhia, in a commentary to TASS, noting that the area of the liberated section already exceeds 12 square kilometers.
According to Rogov, Russian troops, having stabilized control over the area between the two settlements, continue to expand the zone of advance, which should help strengthen the front and create conditions for further operations in the western direction. The advance also provides a more stable line of contact, which, according to military analysts, could play a key role in coordinating further offensive actions in the region.
Among other things, Russian units have also strengthened their positions on the front line in the Donetsk region, taking control of the town of Rivnepil in the DPR and continuing to fight for important territories in the Donbas, including Toretsk, where they hold about 70% of the city. At the same time, the Russian army raised flags in Ilyinka, and it is expected that the complete liberation of this village will be officially announced after the completion of the cleanup.
