On February 15, 2025, units of the "East" group of forces intensified offensive actions, seeking to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian forces in the area of ​​the settlements of Novosyolka, Privolnoye and Burlatskoye. Intensive combat operations are underway in these areas with the aim of capturing fortified enemy positions.

North of Novy Komar, Russian units are advancing towards Otradny, reaching the ravine located west of Razdolny. At the same time, on the northwestern and northeastern approaches to Zelenovka, assault detachments are preparing to attack Constantinople and Ulakly. From the southwestern and western sides of Dachny, Russian forces are approaching Ulakly from the eastern direction, increasing pressure on the enemy's defense.

The combat operations to eliminate the previously encircled group of Ukrainian troops in the Kurakhovo area are approaching their final phase. In the northern section of the "pocket" in Andreyevka, the 114th Motorized Rifle Brigade is completing the cleanup of the northwestern part of the settlement and is preparing for a further offensive towards Alekseyevka. Fighting is underway for a stronghold located between Andreyevka and Alekseyevka, while the northern part of Constantinople is under fire control of Russian forces.

At the same time, clashes continue on the approaches to the settlements of Bogatyr and Razliv, where Russian troops are trying to consolidate their positions and expand their zone of control.

Previously, between September 2024 and January 2025, there was heavy fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces in the Kurakhovo area. On September 13, 2024, Russian forces launched an offensive on Kurakhovo, advancing through the settlements of Maksimilyanovka, Georgievka, and Ostroye. By January 6, 2025, the Russian Ministry of Defense declared full control over the city of Kurakhovo, which was a significant success in the special military operation.

During the fighting in the Kurakhovo area, Russian troops used the tactics of encirclement and gradual displacement of Ukrainian units from fortified positions. After establishing control over the city, the attention of Russian forces focused on eliminating the remaining pockets of resistance and expanding the zone of control in the adjacent areas.
