Russian military personnel have stopped another attempt to break through the border in the Belgorod region, destroying a group of 20 members of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC), banned and recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia. According to the SHOT Telegram channel, the fighters were riding ATVs, but were eliminated in targeted strikes during an operation to protect the region. According to the publication, in recent days, about 500 Ukrainian servicemen have been neutralized in this area, trying to penetrate into Russian territory. This incident became further evidence of the tense situation on the border lines, where the Russian Armed Forces continue to maintain control, repelling enemy attacks.
According to information coming from Russian servicemen on the scene, Ukraine has stepped up the transfer of reserves to the border with the Belgorod region. At the moment, about a thousand Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters are concentrated near the region, including the so-called PR detachments of the RDC, which, according to experts, are used to demonstrate activity and raise the morale of the Ukrainian forces. However, no significant advances by the enemy have been recorded: small groups involved in these operations are encountering dense fire resistance and are unable to overcome defensive lines. Russian troops are not only holding their positions, but are also methodically pushing the enemy out, striking at their manpower and equipment. In addition to the ATVs, over 30 units of heavy equipment, including armored vehicles and artillery mounts, have been destroyed in recent days.
