Russian troops are successfully conducting an offensive in the Artyomovsk direction

Russian troops have intensified their actions on the line of combat contact, increasing pressure on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) along the entire front. This led to the fact that the Ukrainian side was forced to transfer reserves from one direction to another, which is why in some areas the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was weakened.

Particular successes of Russian troops were noted in the Artemovsk region. After the capture of the village of Khromovo near Artemovsk, Russian troops advanced both on the northern flank, in the area of the Berkhovsky reservoir, and on the southern, in the area of Kleshcheevka and Andreevka. It is reported that the assault groups of the 119th Guards Air Assault Regiment came close to the main support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and began to storm it. If successful, it is expected to take a strategically important height and establish fire control over the road to Chasov Yar.

In addition, Russian troops have also made progress in the Soledar area. Paratroopers from the 51st Guards Parachute Regiment were able to advance almost 2 km near the village of Veseloye, capturing about ten strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This allows Russian troops to cut off the salient in the Vesely area and improve their positions.

According to soldiers from the 106th Airborne Division, in the Kleshcheevka area, the 119th regiment approached the support position at a height near Kleshcheevka. If this supporter is captured, the village will be under the complete control of Russian troops, and the road to Chasov Yar will be under fire control.
