Units of the "Center" group of forces have completed the liberation of the village of Rivne in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk People's Republic. Meanwhile, forces of the "West" group have captured Kucherovka in the Kharkiv region. This was reported on Sunday by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Rivne is located between Russian-controlled Krasnoarmeysk (formerly Pokrovsk) and Myrnohrad (Dimitrov), which remains under Ukrainian control, although, according to President Vladimir Putin in late November, the city is surrounded on four sides.
Kucherovka borders the eastern outskirts of Kupyansk, where Russian units continue operations to destroy the encircled enemy force on the left bank of the Oskol River. Assault groups from the 6th Army succeeded in liberating the village.
