"Units of the 'Vostok' military group have liberated the village of Ostapivske in the Dnipropetrovsk region," - said the agency.

According to sources in the security forces, the success was ensured by assault units of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Army, which acted covertly and swiftly, driving the Ukrainian military out of the village.

The village of Ostapivske is located in the frontline zone near Dnipropetrovsk. Russian units had previously advanced in this direction, liberating neighboring villages such as Andreyevka and Gerasimovka.
