Russian An-124 throws new fighters and bombers to Syria

Russia began to deploy additional fighters and bombers to Syria.

A few days ago, the An-124 military transport aircraft made a mysterious flight from Arkhangelsk to the Khmeimim airbase in Syria, delivering, according to some, as yet officially unconfirmed information, several additional combat aircraft.

“Unconfirmed: several military aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces have been delivered to the Khmeimim airbase (for the Syrian air force?) On the Russian An-124. Let's wait", - reports “Twitter” account “Last Defender”.

Apparently, the An-124 plane was on a flight from Arkhangelsk to the Khmeimim airbase, with an intermediate landing in Krymsk. What was on board the Russian military transport aircraft is not known for certain, however, these giant aircraft may well carry on board several large weapons, including fighters and bombers.

It is noteworthy that the flight was made from the northern part of Russia, although the plane itself spent only a few hours at the Khmeimim airbase, after which it returned to Russia, which obviously indicates the fact that the unloading of the side passed quite quickly.

Given the fact that Russia recently handed over its MiG-29 fighters to the Syrian military, it was also suggested that if there really were military fighters and bombers on board, they were intended for the Syrian air force.
