A drone in the sky over Damascus shot down by a Russian fighter.
Specialists were able to establish that an unknown Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle, destroyed several hours ago in the sky over Damascus, was most likely shot down by a Russian combat aircraft that flew 19 minutes before the incident from the Khmeimim air base.
In 19 hours 59 minutes From the Khmeimim airbase, a Russian combat aircraft took off, which, notably, headed south-east.

Given the speed of the fighter’s flight, experts note that a combat aircraft could easily cover the distance between 210 kilometers between the Khmeimim air base and Damascus in less than 19 minutes and destroy the drone that violated Syrian airspace.

It is noteworthy that in the video of the destruction of the drone it is difficult to distinguish the launch of an anti-aircraft guided missile - there is no inversion trace, and therefore, the likelihood that the drone was destroyed from the air is quite high.
At the moment, there are no official comments on this subject, however, experts say that the Israeli attack was actually foiled and no other attempts were made to attack the territory of Syria.
