Russian ship with grain, which Turkey is investigating, moved to the Russian coast

The Russian ship "Zhibek Zholy", in respect of which Turkey is investigating, moved in the direction of Russia.

A few hours ago, the Russian ship Zhibek Zholy, which was transporting grain to Turkey, but which the Turkish side, at the request of Ukraine, began to investigate, left the roadstead of the Turkish port of Karasu and advanced towards the Russian coast. This is evidenced by the data of the Vessel Finder information resource.

According to the information provided, the Russian ship, carrying about 7 thousand tons of wheat, left the roadstead of the port of Karasu, where the ship had been in recent days, about 19 hours ago and moved to the port of Kavkaz. So far, there are no official comments on this matter either from Russia or from Turkey, however, according to experts, apparently, Turkey did not allow the ship to enter the port, since the bulk carrier was not unloaded.

Earlier it became known that the Russian ship with grain was not officially delayed, which was confirmed both in Russia and Turkey.

“Zhibek Zholy was stopped in the Black Sea at the request at the first stage: “The charges considered by Ukraine are being thoroughly investigated”, a Turkish official said earlier in an interview with Reuters.
