A Russian tank destroyed a Polish howitzer AHS Krab in Ukraine, punching a through hole in it

The Polish AHS Krab received a through hole in the armor after an accurate hit by a Russian tank.

Unique video frames have appeared on the Web with at least the seventh Polish self-propelled guns AHS Krab from among the damaged and destroyed during the use in battles. The damage to the self-propelled artillery mount turned out to be so critical that the turret was torn off from the Polish howitzer, and the armor was pierced through from the bow to the stern.

Damage to the Polish self-propelled guns turned out to be extremely serious. Remarkably, however, the latter were formed as a result of an accurate hit from a Russian tank, which pierced the frontal armor of a Polish self-propelled gun with a direct shot, and the projectile managed to exit through the rear of the howitzer.

As a result of such a hit in the self-propelled guns, the ammunition detonation occurred, as a result of which the AHS Krab received critical damage - the gun turret was torn off by an explosion. Given the nature of the damage, it is likely that the Russian military expected the Ukrainian howitzer to approach, and when the latter appeared in the affected area, they struck it.

How many AHS Krab howitzers are in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine is unknown, however, Kyiv makes a key bet on these long-range self-propelled artillery mounts.
