Russian strike UAV "Okhotnik" can be sent for testing in Syria before the end of this year

By the end of the year, the Russian strike UAV "Okhotnik" can be tested in Syria.

A number of sources report that by the end of this year, the Russian heavy attack unmanned aerial vehicle S-70 "Okhotnik" may be delivered to Syria for testing. The drone is supposed to be tested for the stability of operation in difficult conditions, as well as its full-fledged combat use is expected, which will reveal the strengths and weaknesses of the UAV in order to eliminate possible problems before the start of mass production of these drones.

To date, it is known that Russia has completed a whole series of tests of this domestic attack drone, and, obviously, now it is required to conduct tests in full-fledged combat conditions, especially since the Russian military in Syria faces a fairly large number of tasks - from cleaning up militants in Idlib, before the elimination of terrorist facilities in the central part of the Arab Republic.

Previously, information about the tests of the Russian UAV "Okhotnik" in Syria has repeatedly appeared, however, so it did not find official confirmation.

Experts draw attention to the fact that the modernization of the runway was recently completed at the Khmeimim airbase, which makes it possible to use a heavy drone at a Russian military facility.
