Russian military pretended to be dead and deceived Ukrainian drone

Wit and resourcefulness on the battlefield can not only save lives, but also thwart enemy plans. Such a case occurred as part of a special military operation involving Daniil from Yekaterinburg, who managed to deceive an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle.

Daniil shared his difficult experience, talking about a collision with an enemy drone that tried to attack him with grenades. At first, he tried to shoot down an air vehicle, however, at a certain point, he decided to choose a different tactic and simply pretended to be dead, falling to the ground. Despite the fact that the drone continued to hover over him for several minutes, Daniel continued to remain in his position, showing no signs of life.

After the drone operator presumably decided that his mission was complete, Daniil was able to get up and quickly return to his positions. There, he conveyed important information that later helped to disrupt the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Based on my experience, I can say that I could start firing at the drone. However, given my position, most likely, I would not be able to hit the aircraft and would simply waste ammunition. At the same time, my location could be discovered and become a target for the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The probability of survival in such a case would be low. Heroism on the battlefield must be justified by the circumstances. Sometimes it is better to be smart and resourceful in order to avoid unnecessary risks for yourself and your comrades., - the man said in an interview with Ura.ru.
