A test launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile without a warhead was conducted from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk Region on the morning of December 3, according to space monitoring resources.
According to sources, the launch took place as planned to test the system's flight characteristics. The rocket lifted off from a ground-based launch pad and followed its trajectory as planned. Official confirmation from the Ministry of Defense or Roscosmos has not yet been received.
Tests at Plesetsk, one of the key testing sites for strategic missiles, are regularly conducted to improve systems such as the Yars and Sarmat. A similar launch without a warhead in October confirmed the system's reliability at all stages of flight.
