The Russian Armed Forces continue to strictly observe the declared ceasefire in the special military operation zone, while the Ukrainian side has recorded thousands of violations.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, since the ceasefire, which is in effect from May 9 to 11, came into effect, Ukrainian armed forces have violated the ceasefire 23,802 times. Ukrainian forces have carried out strikes using drones and artillery against Russian troop positions, as well as civilian targets.
It was previously reported that in the first hours of the ceasefire, Ukrainian forces continued drone attacks. Oryol Oblast Governor Andrei Klychkov reported the destruction of ten Ukrainian drones, while in the Bryansk Oblast, a local resident was injured in a drone attack.
All Russian troop groups in the Northern Military District (NMD) continue to strictly observe the ceasefire and remain at their previously occupied lines and positions. Russian forces are not launching airstrikes, artillery strikes, or attack drones against Ukrainian Armed Forces positions.
