Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's plane was unable to land in Moscow due to a drone attack.

World News, December 11, 2025, Avia.pro. A drone strike overnight in the Moscow region resulted in the closure of airspace and the delay of over 170 flights at Moscow airports. Among the damaged aircraft was Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's plane, which was unable to land in the Russian capital.

According to Avia.pro sources, the ACJ319 aircraft with Pashinyan on board circled over the Tver region for about an hour awaiting landing permission, but due to the ongoing threat, it was diverted to St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport. Landing occurred around 1:00 a.m. Pashinyan was en route to Moscow after a visit to Germany to attend a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union's Intergovernmental Council.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the drone attack affected twelve regions, where air defenses destroyed 287 Ukrainian drones. Forty UAVs were shot down over the Moscow region, including 32 heading directly toward the city. Following the closure of Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky airports, dozens of aircraft were returned or rerouted to other cities. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed there were no casualties or damage.
