Saudi Arabia bought the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense system.

The Saudi Arabian authorities signed a contract with Russia for the supply of S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems. Information on this matter was confirmed by the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, while the amount of the transaction was not specified.

“At present, we are discussing mutually acceptable conditions with partners for the entry into force of this contract”, - quotes a representative of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, RIA Novosti news agency.

It is noteworthy that the contract itself between Russia and Saudi Arabia was concluded in the 2017 year, however, for unknown reasons, this information was not officially announced.

Despite the official confirmation of the sale of Saudi Arabia by Russian S-400 Triumph air defense systems, deliveries to this country have not been launched, which raises some doubts about the data presented, especially since Riyadh prefer not to comment on this information. Moreover, after Vladimir Putin suggested that Saudi Arabia buy Russian C-400 a few months ago, there was no official response to this.
