Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense's air defense forces destroyed one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) en route to Moscow. Emergency services are working at the crash site.

Earlier, on the night of May 13, 2026, Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 286 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Russian regions, as well as the Azov and Black Seas. The destruction of another drone approaching the capital was an additional incident in this massive attack. There were no reports of casualties or damage.
