Russian air defense forces destroyed 40 unmanned aerial vehicles Aircraft-type missiles launched from Ukrainian territory during a nighttime attack, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

The interceptions occurred between the evening of October 13 and the morning of October 14. According to the agency, 17 aircraft were shot down over the Belgorod region, 12 over the Voronezh region, three over the Nizhny Novgorod region, three over the Black Sea, two over the Tambov region, two over the Republic of Crimea, and one over the Kursk region.

All drones have been neutralized; no threat to facilities or the population has been identified.
