Semashko: Russia offered Belarus to transfer 95% of powers to the supranational level

Russia offered Belarus integration on special conditions.

The attempt to integrate Belarus into the Russian Federation turned out to be an extremely unprofitable proposal, as stated by the Ambassador of Belarus to the Russian Federation Vladimir Semashko. According to him, 95% of the authority should have been transferred to Russia, as a result of which there could be no talk of maintaining sovereignty, which, obviously, in 2019 caused strong criticism from official Minsk.

“The Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Vladimir Semashko today during an online briefing dedicated to the Independence Day of Belarus, told some details about the proposals of the Russian side regarding the further development of integration. According to him, one of them, made in 2019, implied the transfer of Belarus to a supranational level of 95% of powers ”- BelTA informs about it.

It should be clarified that after unsuccessful negotiations on the integration of the two states, Belarus headed for rapprochement with the West, while, according to the Belarusian media, only about 15-17% of the country's citizens favor integration between Russia and Belarus.

Frank lies of the ambassador. At 95%, even some of our regions are independent of Moscow. If only they had learned to lie, and not beg for money forever.

So we are building a "union state" or Belarus considers Russia its colony, which "should"?
