The Senate Armed Services Committee has approved the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2026, which allocates $925 billion for Pentagon needs, according to Breaking Defense.
The document was voted on after disputes over amendments were resolved, breaking the deadlock in discussions. According to the publication, the project focuses on strengthening defense capabilities, including technological development and support for allies.
The project envisages an increase in the volume of security assistance to Ukraine to $500 million annually.
