NATO ships will not go to a military provocation in the Kerch Strait at the suggestion of Ukraine.

From the statement of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, it follows that there are no obstacles for the passage of Ukrainian ships through the Kerch Strait. The only thing Kiev needs to do is to comply with safety requirements.

Lavrov recalled in his interview to the Zvezda TV channel that the Russian side has repeatedly reminded that Ukrainian ships, observing safety standards, can freely pass to their ports from the Black Sea to the Sea of ​​Azov.

As for the possibility of a new military provocation by Ukraine in the Kerch Strait region, the minister expressed doubts that NATO could participate in this.

The Alliance can provide moral and political support to Ukraine. As Lavrov said, he does not see a situation in which "NATO ships will go with these adventurers to create a new provocation"... As is clear from the minister's explanations, the Foreign Ministry has information that suggests that NATO "We have already decided everything for ourselves".
