Republic of Crimea, June 13 — Avia.pro. A major incident was recorded in the northern part of the Crimean Peninsula, where a series of loud bangs occurred overnight, causing serious concern among the local population.

According to residents of Dzhankoy, at least five powerful explosions were clearly heard in the town. The sound and blast waves shook windows, frames, and interior doors in apartments and private homes for several minutes.

Currently, government authorities and the Ministry of Defense have not commented on the nature of the explosions. According to preliminary assessments, the region's air defense systems may have been activated, repelling another attack by Ukrainian forces.

There have been no reports of civilian casualties or damage to urban infrastructure at this time. The situation in northern Crimea remains under close monitoring by emergency services and law enforcement agencies.
