North Korea copied the Russian Iskander complex

North Korea, under currently unknown circumstances, was able to copy the Russian Iskander tactical missile system and successfully test it, according to media reports. Japan does not exclude that Russia could well share the corresponding technology with Pyongyang.

“According to Mr. Yu Koizumi, a leading Japanese military expert and senior research fellow at the Center for Advanced Research in Science and Technology at the University of Tokyo, the two short-range ballistic missiles launched by North Korea could be a replica of Russia's Iskander missile. I believe that this is a short-range ballistic missile, which we call KN-23, ”the expert said. “This is a copy of the Russian Iskander missile. They can be identified by a typical low-altitude flight path, ”Sokha reports.

There are no official comments on the information that has appeared, however, recently Pyongyang has been actively engaged in the production of weapons similar to Russian ones, in particular, we are talking about S-300 complexes, Armata tanks, etc., although the characteristics of these weapons have not been disclosed.

Funny author. That "may be an exact copy." That "This is a copy of the Russian Iskander missile." Contrail was poorly visible :)
