A schoolboy from Buryatia planned to blow up a school

A 15-year-old schoolboy has been detained in Buryatia on suspicion of preparing an attack on his own school. According to law enforcement agencies, the teenager from the village of Ust-Barguzin developed a diagram of the building with marks of the supposed "explosion and arson points" and kept instructions for making homemade incendiary devices.

According to journalists, law enforcement officers turned their attention to the ninth-grader after monitoring his activity on social networks. On his page, he used the pseudonym "Anatoly Smirnov" - the same name as Vladislav Roslyakov, who committed an attack at a college in Kerch in 2018. His account posted publications related to the theme of the "Columbine" movement, which is banned in Russia.

In early February, a search was conducted in the teenager's home, during which a notebook with a school plan and detailed notes describing the process of making a Molotov cocktail was confiscated. After his arrest, Igor (name changed) was questioned and released home on a promise to appear. An investigation into his actions and the circumstances that could have led to this situation are currently ongoing.

The teenager's mother told investigators that her son had been bullied by his classmates. According to her, the boy used to be a good student and was an active child, but recently he became withdrawn and lost interest in studying and socializing. The woman emphasized that Igor had never shown aggression and was not interested in radical ideas. However, bullying by his peers had seriously affected his psychological state. According to her, schoolchildren intimidated the boy and threatened to lie in wait for him after school.

This case has once again drawn attention to the problem of bullying in Russian schools. According to experts, bullying among teenagers can lead to serious consequences, including destructive behavior and a desire to take revenge on offenders. Psychologists emphasize the importance of timely support and work with children who find themselves in difficult situations.

Attacks on schools have become increasingly frequent in recent years, causing serious concerns in society. Experts note the need for more effective preventive work in educational institutions, strengthening school psychological services and monitoring the online activity of teenagers.
