Shoigu criticized the futility of Russian weapons in Syria

The head of the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about the futility of promising Russian weapons in Syria.

The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu, making a statement, noted that the military conflict in Syria made it possible to identify 12 samples of Russian weapons, previously considered very promising, which turned out to be completely useless in the territory of the Arab Republic. At the moment, the release of these weapons is discontinued, and all existing samples are decommissioned.

“Based on the results of the hostilities in Syria, we naturally had a great debriefing, and not one, not ten. I can tell you that about 300 types of weapons were modified taking into account the Syrian experience, and 12 samples that were considered promising, we just removed from production and weapons "- said Sergei Shoigu in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.

What specific weapons are in question is unknown, but experts believe that they mainly concern ammunition for aircraft and helicopters, which could not prove their worth when used against militants and terrorists.

At the same time, the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense emphasized that the military operation in Syria opened up new opportunities for the Russian defense industry, and the previously existing types of weapons are now more effective.

Even for completely illiterate GRADUATES "Harvard" should understand why RUSSIA trains troops and TESTS its weapons in Syria. Gentlemen "common people" THINK before you TIFK on RUSSIA.
