In Russia, the volume of ammunition production has increased dramatically.

The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, announced a significant increase in the production of conventional and precision-guided munitions for the joint Russian group of forces. He made the statement during a meeting at the headquarters of the joint group of Russian troops, where they discussed the supply of ammunition to the troops and updates on the current situation.

According to the Ministry of Defense, Shoigu emphasized the importance of providing the troops with the necessary ammunition and measures were taken to increase the production of the most sought-after types of ammunition. He noted that the expansion of production capacity and increased productivity have led to a significant increase in the number of products produced to support the troops, including both conventional and precision-guided munitions. This makes it possible to fulfill the tasks of the supreme commander-in-chief in accordance with the plan for conducting a special military operation, which Shoigu emphasized.

During the working meeting, issues of further increasing the supply of ammunition for Russian groupings of troops were discussed, including improving the efficiency of the logistics system to provide the troops with everything they need. In addition, issues of increasing the volume of products were discussed.

The Ministry of Defense noted that earlier Shoigu checked the progress of the implementation of the state defense order at enterprises in the Moscow, Chelyabinsk and Kirov regions. The heads of the enterprises reported to the Minister on the current results of the order fulfillment and ongoing projects for the modernization and expansion of production capacities to significantly increase the volume of products.
