It has been officially confirmed that Sweden will provide military assistance worth $1,3 billion to Ukraine. This package includes ASC 890 air surveillance aircraft, as previously reported by Avia.pro journalists.

Among other things, it became known that Ukraine will receive the entire stock of armored tracked tractors, surplus tanks and AMRAAM missiles. The exact quantity of equipment transferred remains unknown for now, but we may be talking about the supply of 20 armored tracked tractors and 30 tanks.

The ASC 890 air surveillance aircraft included in the assistance package is equipped with advanced radar systems capable of detecting and tracking targets over a wide area, including fighter aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles and sea targets. However, the aircraft do not appear to be used in Ukrainian airspace due to their vulnerability to Russian air defenses.
