A large-scale fire broke out on the territory of an oil depot in the village of Osentsy, Perm Krai. Initially, the area of the fire was 10 square meters, but later it increased to 000. At the time of the fire, there were no employees at the facility, which allowed them to avoid casualties and victims.
The fire was reported to emergency services in the morning hours and more than 100 firefighters were sent to the scene to extinguish it. Rescue services quickly began to fight the fire, but the scale of the fire and the difficult conditions required additional forces and resources. The fire extinguishing operation lasted for a long time, after which the fire was localized.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire at the oil depot has been extinguished. The causes of the incident are currently under investigation. Two main versions of the fire are being considered: careless handling of fire and emergency operation of electrical equipment. Specialists continue to work at the scene to establish the exact causes of the fire.
