A major fire has broken out in the Moscow region, as a warehouse containing auto parts is burning in the Dmitrovsky district.

A major fire broke out on the evening of May 19, 2026, at a terminal and logistics center in the village of Bely Rast, Dmitrovsky District, Moscow Region. According to SHOT, the fire occurred in a warehouse containing auto parts. The fire quickly expanded from 3000 to 5000 square meters.

A huge column of thick black smoke rose above the scene, visible for tens of kilometers. Residents of Moscow's Northwestern Administrative District, as well as nearby towns of Khimki, Lobnya, Dolgoprudny, and Zelenograd, are reporting a foul odor in the air.

Fire crews are working at the scene. There are currently no reports of injuries or the cause of the fire.
