Telegram monitoring channels reported a possible attempt by Ukrainian drones to strike a power plant in Simferopol on the night of November 7. Residents recorded pops and flashes in the sky, and the LPR1 channel issued a warning:

"Simferopol State District Power Plant and surrounding areas. UAV alert. Republic of Crimea."

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the destruction of five UAVs over the peninsula.

"During the past night, air defense systems on duty destroyed five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Republic of Crimea," — the department’s report states.

There are no official data on hits or casualties.
