Syria is ready to attack Turkish fighters and drones.

Against the background of an expected attack by Turkish troops and militants on Tel Rifat, located north of Aleppo, it became known that at least two Syrian Pantsir-S air defense missile systems and one Buk-M2E complex were deployed near the Syrian-Turkish border. "Pantsiri" will provide the opportunity to work on targets in the event that the latter cross the Syrian border, and the Buk-M2E complexes will attack Turkish fighters in the event of the latter's attempts to strike at Tel Rifat from Turkish airspace.

According to sources in the Syrian army, the deployment of air defense systems is due to the fact that the SAA command decided to ensure the retention of Tel Rifat from capture by Turkish troops and militants. This is primarily due to the fact that, having gained access to Tel Rifat, terrorists will be able to freely attack Aleppo, where about two million people live and the main forces of the Syrian army are concentrated.

It is known that the Syrian troops are preparing to actively use tactical missile weapons. In particular, it was previously reported that the deployment of Tochka and Tochka-U OTRKs has begun, as well as, according to unconfirmed reports, Iskander complexes, although the presence of the latter in service with the SAA has not been officially confirmed.
