A US military convoy tried to break through a Syrian military checkpoint and opened fire on it.

Another attempt by the American military to break into the northern and western parts of Syria ended in very serious troubles for the American military. According to Syrian military sources, after the American military personnel ignored the order to stop, all personnel who were on the territory of the checkpoint opened fire on the American military convoy, however, due to the fact that no heavy weapons were stationed here, significant damage to the American military equipment was not caused, although the bulletproof glasses and wheels of armored vehicles were damaged. Nevertheless, the US reacted rather harshly to such actions of the Syrian army, simply destroying the checkpoint of the Syrian military.

A day earlier, the news agency Avia.pro reported that an American helicopter launched several missile attacks on the positions of the Syrian troops. As it turned out, as a result of such an attack, the checkpoint was completely destroyed - one person died, and two more were seriously injured.

It is noteworthy that the Russian air defense systems located in the city of Kamyshly did not react to the attack of the American attack helicopter, which caused violent criticism of the Russian military, who could well have prevented the destruction of the checkpoint providing protection of the Russian military air base in this Syrian city.
