Crushing blows of Russian fighters stopped Turkish military convoys in Idlib

An attempt by the Turkish military to transfer its forces to the southern part of Idlib failed under powerful attacks from the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The Turkish army is trying with all its might to contain the start of a large-scale military offensive in the southern part of the Syrian province of Idlib, sending several hundred of its military and armored equipment to the region. However, Russian military aircraft thwarted Ankara's actions by actively striking throughout the southern part of the Syrian province of Idlib, preventing Turkish forces from even entering areas that were supposed to be occupied by Turkish troops in order to create obstacles to further offensive.

At the moment, it is known that Turkey has sent at least two military convoys to the southern part of Idlib, which include armored vehicles and several hundred Turkish troops. Experts do not exclude that Turkey may also transfer additional air defense systems to Idlib, since at least three batteries of the MIM-23 Hawk air defense missile system were seen earlier south of the city of the same name.

It is known that the Syrian army and the Russian military are planning to launch an offensive on Idlib early next week. At the same time, a meeting of the Russian and Turkish leaders is also scheduled for next week. This does not exclude the possibility that Erdogan will try to prevent the assault on Idlib.

Why does Russia need Syria? then, that there is a totalitarian regime and Putin supports it, because he risks remaining the only dictator in the civilized world.
