Active operation of electronic warfare (EW) systems has been recorded near the Crimean Bridge, causing disruptions to navigation systems in the region. According to sources, including the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, automatic identification system (AIS) devices are showing distorted data on the location of ships. According to this data, the ships are allegedly on land and are gathering in strange circular formations resembling a "round dance".
Military correspondent Vladimir Romanov also confirmed that the enemy is dissatisfied with the work of Russian electronic warfare and spoofing - technologies capable of misleading navigation systems and disorienting control. Such measures are aimed at protecting a strategically important facility - the Crimean Bridge, which remains a key link in the region's transport infrastructure.
Experts note that the intensive use of electronic warfare in the Kerch area may be associated with attempts to suppress reconnaissance and possible attack activity. Electronic systems successfully suppress navigation and communication channels, which significantly complicates the coordination of actions for potential threats. Thus, today, the Ukrainian military made an unsuccessful attempt to attack Crimea using two naval drones.
It should be noted that there are no official comments from Russia regarding the operation of electronic warfare systems in the area of the Crimean bridge.
