After a publication on social networks by Sergei Lezhnev, adviser to the governor of the Oryol region, shelling of the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in Kremennaya occurred. This information is provided by Baza journalists. Lezhnev shared photos and videos from the place where, according to him, humanitarian aid was traditionally unloaded. On November 14, he published photographs expressing gratitude to the fighters and describing his impressions of the visit.
However, the very next day after the publication, Lezhnev reported shelling of the mentioned place. A message appeared on his channel that the shelling occurred nearby, at a distance of about 10 meters, but, fortunately, no one was injured:
“Thank God that the arrival was 10 meters away, everyone is alive and well.”
He also added that if the car had been located in a normal place, the consequences could have been different. Lezhnev published new footage from the scene, including a video of him swearing and running away.
Ukrainian journalist Alexey Artyukh responded to Lezhnev’s posts, thanking him for the tip:
“Thanks for the tip, Sergey Lezhnev”“Baza” quotes Artyukh as saying, indicating that the information published by Lezhnev could have been the reason for the shelling.
