Advisor to the Acting Head of the Donetsk People's Republic announced the start of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Advisor to the Acting Head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Jan Gagin, spoke on Channel One about the possible start of a "creeping counter-offensive" by Ukrainian troops. Increased activity at the front, the increased work of sabotage and reconnaissance groups and the active work of artillery from Ukraine can serve as harbingers of this offensive, Gagin noted.

Earlier in May, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Ukrainian president's office, stressed that the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had been going on for several days.

In addition, the commander of the Ground Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky at the beginning of this week indicated that the time for a counteroffensive "will come soon."

Russian experts point out that the constant changes in terms are connected, first of all, with the information war. Regular announcements about an upcoming offensive are designed to keep Russia in a state of constant tension. Secondly, the Kyiv government is under pressure from the West, demanding quick and victorious results.
