After the successful defeat of the Taliban terrorists (a terrorist movement banned in Russia - ed.) On the outskirts of Panjshir, the only region of Afghanistan not controlled by the Taliban, the resistance forces announced that they had largely achieved success thanks to the "Russian" tanks. Apparently, the militia forces have placed T-55 and T-62 tanks on the hills and when the Taliban and their armored vehicles approach, the military shoot groups of terrorists. Therefore, the latter have such significant losses.

In the video footage presented, you can see a tank in service with the resistance forces, which is located on a hill in anticipation of a possible attack by the Taliban. We are talking about the T-55 tank, which, although it is far from being in the best condition, but due to its deployment at a height, the terrorists cannot destroy it.

It should be noted that over the past 96 hours, the Afghan resistance forces have lost 4 tanks, including one T-62M. At the same time, the losses of the Taliban are disproportionately large, they have lost about 60 units of equipment (in total, 120 units of light armored and unarmored equipment were lost). As for the losses of the enemy's manpower, to date the Taliban have lost more than 6 thousand terrorists in clashes with the resistance forces, but they have not been able to change the situation in Panjshir in any way.
