Satellites recorded a large-scale fire at an ammunition depot in the Tver region

NASA satellite images have recorded a large-scale fire at the 107th GRAU arsenal in the Tver region. According to OSITN specialists, the warehouse that was attacked contained 122-mm rockets for Grad launchers and 82-mm artillery mines. Explosions and fires continue, and emergency services are trying to localize the consequences of the incident.

According to information posted on the X platform (formerly Twitter), heat signatures recorded by NASA satellites indicate multiple fires across almost the entire arsenal. This data confirms that the attack on the ammunition depot caused significant damage, causing explosions of a significant amount of military equipment and ammunition.

The facility has been the target of attacks several times recently. In May and June of this year, the arsenal was already hit, as ASTRA sources previously reported.

In addition to the 107th GRAU arsenal, there is another military unit on this territory - military unit 54169. The military of this unit was evacuated at night, which was a response to the deteriorating situation. There are also civilian facilities in the immediate vicinity, the evacuation of residents from which continues. Residents of villages near Toropets were forced to leave their homes due to the threat of fire spreading and ammunition detonation.
