The NASA Fire Information Monitoring System (FIRMS) recorded a fire in the area of the oil depot in Rovenky. According to sources, the fire occurred shortly after the attack, which, according to preliminary data, was carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). ASTRA specialists drew attention to this, publishing the monitoring data on their resources.
The fire started shortly after the strikes on the oil depot, which is a strategic facility for fuel supply in the region. Official authorities have not yet commented on the incident, but local residents and publics are actively discussing what happened, pointing to the possible use of attack drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As a reminder, such drone attacks on critical infrastructure have increased in recent months, raising serious concerns about their impact on operations and logistics in the region. In particular, such strikes are aimed at destroying fuel reserves and other strategically important facilities, which could affect the supply and movement of military equipment.
The fire at the oil depot in Rovenki continues and at the moment there is no exact information about the extent of damage or the number of victims. Local services are working at the scene, but it is difficult to contain the fire due to the large-scale fuel spill.
