On the night of November 9, ten unmanned aerial vehicles attacked facilities in the Tula region, including a large industrial facility, the Aleksin Chemical Plant. According to sources, air defense forces managed to shoot down one of the drones, but eight of the devices reached the territory of the plant, and one fell on the site of the Aleksin Thermal Power Plant. Such data are cited by Baza. According to the Ministry of Defense, the total number of drones shot down over Russian territory overnight was 50.
The consequences of the incident were less destructive than they could have been: significant damage was avoided. On the territory of the chemical plant, only the glazing of some buildings was damaged, and similar damage was recorded at three private houses located near the attacked objects. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties among the plant employees or residents of nearby houses.
