Russian air defense forces destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle approaching the capital, Moscow City Hall reported. Emergency services are already at the crash site to assess the situation and ensure security. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed the incident, noting that the threat had been eliminated.

"The Ministry of Defense's air defense forces shot down one drone en route to Moscow. Emergency services are working at the crash site." - Sobyanin writes.

According to eyewitnesses, the explosion was quite strong, but there were no consequences.

That same night, Russian air defense systems repelled attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones in several regions, including the Belgorod and Voronezh Oblasts, as well as areas near Ryazan, Sochi, and Tuapse. According to the alert, the duty units successfully neutralized the targets, preventing any potential damage to infrastructure.
