The US and British embassies in Lebanon have appealed to their citizens with a strong recommendation to leave the country as soon as possible. In their appeals, they emphasize the need to take advantage of any available flights for evacuation.

Due to the worsening situation in the region, the authorities of both countries are asking their citizens, who for some reason cannot or do not want to leave Lebanon, to be prepared for a long stay in shelter. This warning is due to the growing security threat and the possibility of further armed clashes.

It should be noted that a large-scale escalation between Iran and Israel is expected in the coming hours, which will obviously also involve Yemen, Lebanon and Syria.
