The issue of sending American tactical missiles to Ukraine for Himars and MLRS is still being discussed.

Despite the appearance of information that American tactical missiles for the Himars and MLRS MLRS will be sent to Ukraine, it became known that a final decision on this matter has not yet been made. The United States is trying to push through the supply of these weapons to Ukraine, however, at the moment, the need to supply such ammunition is still under discussion.

It is known that the United States plans to transfer ATACMS Block IA missiles to Ukraine, the target range of which is up to 300 kilometers. This poses a very serious threat not only to the entire territory of the DPR and LPR, but also to a significant part of the territory of Russia. Moreover, the key feature of such missiles is not even their target engagement range, but the number of submunitions carried - if the M31A1 missile has 404 submunitions, then the ATACMS Block IA missile already has 950 submunitions.

In the presented photo, you can see the affected area of ​​one ATACMS Block IA missile. According to official data, the area of ​​destruction of one rocket is about 31000 square meters, although the area of ​​continuous destruction is only about 1200-1300 square meters.
