USA approved Ukraine's entry into NATO

The United States has approved Ukraine's entry into NATO.

The United States of America fully supported Ukraine's entry into the North Atlantic Alliance and today the Ukrainian side can become the largest NATO country on the western borders of Russia, which, given Ukraine's access to the Azov and Black Seas, can lead to quite serious pressure from the Alliance.

“Secretary of State Blinken is in Kiev right now to reaffirm our support for Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence. His trip also highlights the importance of Ukraine's passing key laws to advance the rule of law, fight corruption, and economic reform. This will strengthen Ukraine's democracy and economy, as well as strengthen Euro-Atlantic integration. The Biden administration is committed to keeping the doors to NATO open to candidates when they are ready and able to fulfill their membership obligations and contribute to security in the Euro-Atlantic area. "- said the deputy press secretary of the White House Karin Jean-Pierre.

At the same time, all NATO member states are well aware that in order to join the North Atlantic Alliance, Ukraine must at least end the armed conflict in Donbass, not to mention that Ukraine’s accession to NATO must be supported by all countries belonging to the Alliance, and the current trends point to the fact that Kiev faces some challenges.
